HTC Vive/ Virtual Reality
Hello and welcome back to my blog, today I will be talking about the HTC Vive and virtual reality in general. So, what the HTC Vive is: an advanced form of virtual reality that involves laser tracking and a virtual reality headset. What virtual reality is: you guessed it, an area that is not real, but man-made. I think that virtual reality can be used for many practical things. The most popular right now is videogames, which are, in my opinion awesome, especially with the Vive, because it comes with controllers that you can use to interact with the virtual environment around you. You can even walk around, and the laser will track you, unfortunately, they can not track your whole body, just the controller and the headset, but I hope that one day we will be able to see our whole body and be able to do everything we can do in real life (and a bit more) in virtual reality. I think that VR can also be used in engineering, where you can make a 3D object and will be actual able to walk around it and make adjustments. I think this will make it much easier for the next generation of engineers, who wont be using desktop computers, but will be actually seeing their creations and being able to go up and touch them, kinda. This could also be very effective as a new form of art. Instead of just having a flat painting, you can have a 3D picture that you can walk around and see from different views. I also think that this could be used in many training simulations, such as flight simulations, so instead of the government wasting a ton of money on those big simulators, they could just have a few and be able to use them for multiple types of simulation. One thing that I think would be very cool to go with the laser tackers, is drones, so instead of the lasers coming from the corners of a room, they would be attached to drones and they would follow you if you ran out into an area. This would make it so that you would not have to stay in a confined area, you could run into battle and not be worried about destroying your stuff. That is all for right now, I will see you next time, and thank you for reading my blog.

Prison Architect
Hello, and welcome back to my blog. Today I will be talking about an older game that I got a long time ago that I recently started to play again. This game is called prison architect, which is basically a prison building game, where, you guessed it, build and manage your own prison. I think this game is very difficult, at least for me. I think this is because of what prisoners do if requirements are not met. The prisoners will try and escape, beat up guards, and break things. The way you can get the money to build your prison is through grants, which is where the government gives you a certain amount of money to do a certain thing in your prison. There is a lot of little things in this game, a lot of it is very creative, and yet necessary to a prison. This game has a lot of hours of expanding your prison, and can feel very accomplishing when you complete an objective. The animation style is also very unique and I think is quite funny. This game is very fun for me and I suggest anyone who likes to create their own thing and make it better. Well, that is all for right now, and thank you for reading my blog.

Guild Wars 2
Hello, and welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be talking about a game that my friend got me and a bunch of other people into. This game is called Guild Wars 2, which is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) which basically means that a lot of people are on the same consistent server and they all play a different role. There is a lot of different things that can happen in this game, and I haven't played enough of it to know very much about the other storylines that you can follow. So, what happens is, you pick a class and a race to play as, then you design your character to your liking, and then,(this is where the complicated stuff happens) you choose from a set of events that happened to your character in his/her past. This defines everything that happens in your personal story, along with other decisions you make along the road. You unlock a new personal story every 10 levels. Oh, by the way, this game runs on a level system and runs on damage numbers and probability and all that, which means that once you reach a new level, your statistic numbers increase, and you'll do more damage and more of other stuff. There are also many events that happen all over the game world at all times, such as a centaur attack on a nearby village, which you can go over to and defend it for a nice reward. Also, those events actually change what other events are going to be later, such as, if you did save that town, then there would be a different event later than if you did not save the town. There is so much to the weapon system also, this is mainly caused by the fact that every weapon type comes with a new and unique set of skills. This keeps the game interesting and makes it more fun to learn how, and to use a new weapon because it does not just make you're character statistically better, it could change the way you play the game as that character. There is just too much awesome in this game for me too explain it all in this blog post, but I might consider making my character something that i regularly talk about and what is happening in my little world of adventure. That is all for right now, and I will see you next time, and thank you for reading my blog.
