Guild Wars 2
Hello, and welcome back to my blog. Today, I will be talking about a game that my friend got me and a bunch of other people into. This game is called Guild Wars 2, which is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) which basically means that a lot of people are on the same consistent server and they all play a different role. There is a lot of different things that can happen in this game, and I haven't played enough of it to know very much about the other storylines that you can follow. So, what happens is, you pick a class and a race to play as, then you design your character to your liking, and then,(this is where the complicated stuff happens) you choose from a set of events that happened to your character in his/her past. This defines everything that happens in your personal story, along with other decisions you make along the road. You unlock a new personal story every 10 levels. Oh, by the way, this game runs on a level system and runs on damage numbers and probability and all that, which means that once you reach a new level, your statistic numbers increase, and you'll do more damage and more of other stuff. There are also many events that happen all over the game world at all times, such as a centaur attack on a nearby village, which you can go over to and defend it for a nice reward. Also, those events actually change what other events are going to be later, such as, if you did save that town, then there would be a different event later than if you did not save the town. There is so much to the weapon system also, this is mainly caused by the fact that every weapon type comes with a new and unique set of skills. This keeps the game interesting and makes it more fun to learn how, and to use a new weapon because it does not just make you're character statistically better, it could change the way you play the game as that character. There is just too much awesome in this game for me too explain it all in this blog post, but I might consider making my character something that i regularly talk about and what is happening in my little world of adventure. That is all for right now, and I will see you next time, and thank you for reading my blog.
